This studio concerns itself with matter, space and the imagination.
From the exploration of wax and plaster, gravity becomes the key to operate on the following model. And imagination is stimulated within the process. Rubbing, from the very beginning turns to a landscape background. Meanwhile, the invisible strings turns to a systematic weaving of architectures. The story of how people live in this labyrinth and how interative we can be with the mountains is depicted in later work.
Lybrinth in the mountain
It can be as big as a mountain,
It can be as small as a shell,
Either macro or micro.
Inside as organs,
outside as megastructures.
It is not a prison.
But not so easy you could find your way out.
The clue is always on the top.
It is a place where mountains and rivers are believed,
inhabitated, utilized and explored.
It is a place growing downward,
weaving together as a whole.
Power is not released by mega-structures,
but the tension between compliance and independence,
human and nature.
